Over the years I have seen a total lack of network marketing training around this vital skill. It’s one of the main reasons I believe responsible for the huge failure rate for MLM rookies.
In most of the network marketing training I have seen, new people are mostly told to make a list and then talk to everyone they know, only to get bombarded with rejection and give up. No-one likes rejection!
No wonder, it makes no sense to attempt to sell a business to someone who doesn’t want a business.
Most home business owners don’t understand their target market and don’t have the resources to hire an expert marketing consultant or do in depth testing so they end up guessing who their target market is and taking a shot gun approach.

“I don’t have the money.”

Remember if you do miss the the target – don’t blame the target – it’s never the target’s fault!
Also remember that whilst it is possible to have more than one target for your home based business opportunity it’s difficult to aim properly at more than one target at once so it’s best to laser focus your marketing efforts towards your perfect prospect and don’t be tempted to keep redefining your target.

It is much easier than you would believe. In fact it really does not take anything or anyone special – most people have the ability to be a success in network marketing with the right network marketing training.
